Health & Safety
It is the policy of GNS Management to give prompt and proper attention to all aspects of Safety, Health and Welfare to all of its employees and other persons who may be affected by its activities. The Company believes that, in all aspects of its business, the Safety, Health and Welfare of its employees is paramount and does not accept any of its work activities causing injury, ill health or harm.
GNS have an extremely comprehensive Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Management System in place, which covers all aspects of safety management, for example; processes and procedures, method statements, risk assessments, etc. All GNS staff are trained in the use of this system and it is proving an invaluable tool to operating our business safely and efficiently.
GNS prides itself in the in-depth Safety culture of our company, and believe this is paramount to its success.
GNS have been awarded OHSAS18001:2007 accreditation.
GNS recognises its responsibility to conduct operations, and provide services and products in a manner that is responsible to the Earth’s environment and protective of its natural resources, and to this end has established a detailed Environmental Policy.
GNS operates its Environmental Management process through the SHEQ Management System.
GNS have worked in a number of environmentally sensitive areas and have a vast expertise in doing so. GNS understand the archaeological impact of its work, working alongside archaeologists daily.
GNS have been awarded ISO14001:2015 accreditation.
Quality and work management
GNS operates its Quality Management process through the SHEQ Management System, which is fully integrated into the business. GNS has the ability to maintain high standards of Quality throughout the business, which enables GNS to be more efficient in the delivery of projects and to meet the demands and expectations of its clients.
